Quickie Workout

Sometimes I just want a quickie workout that can be done right in the comforts of my own home, I don’t even really need to change my clothes. Just get up off my rump, bust a move & get my sweat on. Carry on with my day, because lets be honest not every day do I want to base my entire being around my workout. Yes, I love having those days where I methodically plan not only the workouts but my warm-up/cool-down & cardio, then spend the next 3 hours throwing iron around in the gym.

With that being said, below is the perfect workout you can do from your living room, bedroom, wherever you have a little space. Roll out a yoga mat & get ready to get your heart pumping.

Warm-up♦ with some dynamic movements:                                           

◊big arm circles–forward/backward                                                        

 ◊get in a low lunge position & move your hips backwards till your sitting on your heel of your back foot & front leg is extended straight–shift your weight forward & background getting a good stretch with each movement.  

◊20 jumping jacks                                                                                        

 ◊20 high knees

THE WORKOUT

→1 min – squat to side kick

→30 sec each side – single leg glute bridge

‌ℜest 20 sec

→1 min – burpee

→1 min – crab kicks with alternating toe reach

ℜest 20 sec

→1 min – push up to spider plank

→1 min – mountain climbers

∞Repeat 3x & you’ll be done in 20 minutes.
